I got my washing to do too:D Did she have a good time? was it one of these activity things?
She came back home raving about it, yes it was one of them climbing, adventure week things.
DS2 ran up to her for a cuddle when he saw her, nearly made half the staff cry :rotfl: (little tear in my eye too!) and now they're all fighting like she's never been anywhere and my peaceful house is returned to it's normal noise level :rotfl:
Her clothes came back all damp and her suitcase honked! It's currently 'airing' in the garden with the rain and a pair of trainers that I will never get the smell out of (can you even de-stinkify damp smelly trainers? )
How's work been?Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

OMG is Armageddon on us or is it just Friday 13th? It's normally SO quiet here, well in our village/hamlet nothing happens BUT ALL around us it seems total chaos has reigned.
Hubby has suggested going to Tescos if the roads do clear for whoopsies. He rarely wants to go. Well, no-one has been able to get there - so he may be right! Wish I'd managed to pick up our new freezer!
All those poor people! Friday 13th came with a total vengeance!
Sounds scarey!! Where abouts are you?
I'd stay in and forget the whoopsies if I were you!Pobody's-Nerfect0 -

Many thanks to OPs who posted about the £5 Amazon book voucher and the £50 Lakeland wine voucher. Was intending to order from LL anyway so topped up with some gift vouchers to get over the £50
Just thought I'd mention. Two years ago I had 8 years no claims before taking out car ins with Aviva. However their max is 5 years so when I subsequently moved they said "5 years or more" on my no claims letter. My new insurer has now passed that on to next insurer as "6 years". So I've lost 4 years as should now be 10 years  Anyone else had this happen? I didn't notice until this year when new insurer asked for my no claims certificate. One of the downsides of being an insurance tart I suppose
You haven't lost 4 years, different insurers use different ways of describing max NCD, and they will still ask you when your last claim was so you still have that date. I don't believe there is any insurer that will give 20 years NCD, it just comes to a max of around 70%.Cheap shoes  I would break my neck in them :rotfl::rotfl:

DD adores Iron Fist shoes and we have to store them, so please keep quiet about thisI know, I get 1 point per £2 back in all shops
I've had the card for a decade now I think and it's a finest one.
Way back then you needed to earn over £20k or something daft to get one so I think I just had a standard purple one but got upgraded eventually
I have one of the finest ones too, 1 point for £2 spend, also have a normal clubcard tooWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

lizzie this happened to me a few years ago,
it is very easy to go back to your old insurance company(2 years ago) and get them to reissue your NCD entitlement.
you then forward this to your next company and ask then to add this to your NCD when finishing with then
i did this for a whole 18 years back, it was simple, except one company form memory i think Esure, they refused to play ball,
so i threatened them with the insurance ombudsman, and they sent me my full entitlement.
18 years :eek::eek:
Thanks will give it a go! I can't believe I haven't noticed this before0 -

Savvybuyer wrote: »No, I did have a thought of these a couple of days ago - thought about buying them as I was sure that N/A return a while back was a minor 'glitch' from their normal 5p comp!
I thought of this shop, now we have had the two different types of new pots comparing 39p (may not be in Scotland):
New Pots Herbs Butter - item 1
Baby New Pots Herbs Butter - item 2
S&G Responsive - item 3
S&G Sensitive or whatever the other right S&G is - item 4
Kingsmill Really Seeded - item 5
BE Cod Fish - item 6
Bombay Pots - item 7.
Anyone suggest the remaining 8th item???:rotfl::rotfl:
(Perhaps some non-comp 2p ginger?:D:rotfl: Or if you have an 8th glitch item, I'd love to try that shop!!:rotfl::rotfl::D)
2p (10p?) ginger would get my vote.
I guess you know the 10p sweets already Savvy but I couldn't find much detail already here (since I was lazy & didn't look properly I guess) but it seems 10p sweeties include far more than just the 3, I found 5 worked today & yesterday so a list of workable cheap sweeties would sure be appreciated by others I'm sure.
Life is surely better than 6p Brussels sprouts, the kids swim 4km 4 times a week so sweeties is a good reward we'd buy anyway.0
