I set up DS1 a facebook account a while ago and I have the password etc plus for some reason I also get an e-mail when he gets messages when offline.
He and his girlfriend chat on facebook messaging so I have an e-mail account full of their messages now. I never read them (because I'm a good girl ) but haven't yet deleted any of them maybe I'll need them for bribery one day

I do hope I never have a reason to read his messages or log into his account (other than to send myself tickets in candy crush ) but with al the things you hear on the news about cyber bullying it does make me worry as DS1 gets emotional easily

The main reason I let him open an account is that he plays mine craft and there is a FB group that have set up a server for Autistic kids so that they can play the game in peace and avoid the usual trolls etc.

cant you keep the same one, and just change the DOB nearer the time.
I seen a lot of peeps change theirs on here so they were 18. so they could get a free shaver a few months back.

Did a BNI pizza shop yesterday, together with 2 x Emmi (different flavours) and fillers. Went through SS and all was well until SA advised they could no longer take Emmi coupons. Fine says I, I will leave the Emmis then, and the SA deletes them off no problem.

It wasn't until I paid and my receipt appeared - alone - that I realised taking off the Emmi had brought my shop down to 9 items instead of 11!!!! The horror. No PP.

So off I toddled to CS for a refund as I had 'bought the wrong meal deals'. Fortunately they were nice as pie and refunded no worries.

Even more fortunately there were four pizzas still on the shelf for my second attempt!

I will take this as a lesson in complacency and go back to over-doing the fillers for safety!!

Ha ha - love it! My DS nattered for FB account and I finally gave in in Feb on provisio like you - I set it up and have password and rules and signature from DS. Well he used for 2 weeks and never goes on it now. He gets limited slots for access to the computer and between facebook, minecraft or youtube I am happy to report facebook never wins. Made him go on in August to check in case any personal messages left - he confused all relatives thanking them for their happy birthday posts from April . Happy to leave him with minecraft, lego, - thanks for the person warning re the age appropriate advertising tho - will look at delete and re register later on.

Edit - just seen your second post re fb minecraft site - brilliant idea to protect him from trolls. DS has been muttering about servers etc so he can play interactive minecraft with other users ............. hmmm
