They said I could reapply in October.... I think they're trying to rotate their panelists.
Oh I got a message asking me to confirm I still wanted to take part. Had the same last year.
Have you had any trials recently?
I have done quite a few surveys. But the last 2 trials have not been suitable for me.0 -
Thanks VT.
I love looking at my wine stash, not actually drinking it.
Do you remember when I was living at my mum's, Mr TS drank loads without me there rationing. I am only just building stocks back up again. :rotfl:
I quite fancy the albali rose, not got any left from As glitch.
Not sure you are in danger of running out of wine anytime soon:p
I quite fancy the frexinet rose as I love this but all snuggly in my onsie so don't think I will venture out again. Although it is still a low price tomorrow and I have not been a new customer since the lamb at easter and I do believe there is a £17 off c&c code kicking around:D

Any cheap pepperoni deals around?
We had spog bol the other night so I saved some bol sauce and boiled it up until it was nearly stuck to the pan, then spread it over the pizza when it was cooked. Saved buying more toppings or putting more cheese on, and it was lovely0 -
I've been recycling some of the old pots and containers I have lying around and freshening them up with some new plants.
Bought 2 little cacti for £1 and filled pot with soil and topped with gravel and beads. They like dry soil and good drainage. Another with chillies grown from seeds.
They'll brighten up the odd corner:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Good morning everyone. Just popped the blackberries I picked yesterday into the freezer. There was loads. Very MSM would recommend as it was a good crop. Wondering if anyone has a tested christmas pudding recipe as thinking of making my own. Just steeped the fruit in brandy/rum for my Xmas cake as need to make at the weekend.
Delias recipe for me every time too0 -
So off topic but any ne have the ikea expedit shelves? I'm thinking f buying the 4x4. Are they any good? What baskets did u buy? Need somewhere to store the kids toys.
Bizarrely enough I've just got back from Ikea having bought some more expedit to go with the ones I've already got
I use the drona (sp?) faux suede boxes in mine to keep DS's toys tidy, they're only £2.50 a box :money:0 -
I managed to get a couple oF bni pizza deals and may go again tommorow. Just need to tidy freezer to fit them in.
Well the wedding at the weekend went quite well I suppose. The sun shone, everyone looked lovely, we went as a family( oh dd and ds)and everyone was amazed at my weight loss. had a lovely day eating but back on track now until Friday for DS's wedding.
However my sis aunt and I had talked to Mum about only coming to the reception as she is quite immobile now but of course as soon as eldest sis arrived on Wednesday that all changed.
We backed off and just said well over to you. I drank very little alcohol as I was driving my family home ( oh left early as he finds it difficult being around drink) and my younger sis is teetotal. However last time a niece got married my older sis had too much to drink , went home early was dreadfully sick and missed the evening do( which apparently was our fault for not fetching her back)
After a time at the reception Mum went indoors ( it was at my brothers house) and sis carried on drinking. My younger sis made some remark about people going indoors ( my brother had asked that the house be kept private and my sis was only telling the elder one this)
This descended into a slanging match in the reception and no matter how I tried I could not make them stop. Then older sis decided we wanted Mum out and flounced off to get the car. So I went and got my brothers to stop her as she had drunk 3 champagne glasses and nearly a bottle of wine. She drove the cvar up to front of house to pick Mum up so I just removed the keys and told her no ( its my car that I am trying to sell and I lent it to her whilst she is home) She shouted and swore at all of us and eventually my older brother sent them home in a taxi.
However she does not feel she should apologise and wont even speak about it.
its ds wedding this week, dd is really depressed and I dont think I can take much more. They want Mum to have overnight care so I told younger sis today that they had better get more than that as I am done. Younger sis said she will call a meeting of all of us next week. They all seemed to think it is about money but its not. If I give up I will lose £150.00 a week but I dont really care just want my life back.
Sorry for the rant.
So hard for you, and too easy for them to dip in and out as they please with their demands. Don't give up the money too easily as I wouldn't mind betting that then you would still be doing as much but worrying about the loss of income.
Best wishes for the upcoming wedding, don't let the b*****ds grind you down.0 -

You are right my wine stock is nowhere near running dry. You know me too well. :rotfl:
I did not bother counting how many bottles when I put last weeks C & C and store shop away. Early this year it had hit treble figures I think.
Could do with a big wine rack so I can see what there is but don't think my bathroom is really the place. Will leave it in the boxes until I have a proper plan. I refill M & S boxes with latest glitches.
I finished off a bottle of M & S chardonnay 2009 last night, don't think I would have admitted to ironing dusters if I had not been under the influence.0
