reducing car TAX and getting some money back?
hello everyone,
I have just put 12 months Tax on my 2004 corsa but i am not looking at selling it asap.
What do people think about me selling it with the 12 months tax or try if possible to get the tax put down to 6month and getting some money back?
What would be better? the tax cast £140

I've seen cars advertised by the owners stating tax will be taken out or can be purchased at cost (pro-rata)0

If you are looking a trade in then just cash the tax in.
If selling private, just having put 12 months tax on wasn't clever.
If you try and cash it in via DVLA, you may well lose a month in doing so depending on when you do it and there is about a 10% surcharge buying 6 monthly which whittles some more of your 'saving' away.0 -
Nothing puts me off a car more than its taxed but not included in the price.
If your that stingy or need the money that badly i do have to wonder if you have spent any money on the car.
Is it only fixed when something drops off?
Just ask more for the car to take the tax into account.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
