Retail park Car parking ticket

Hi thanks in advance for any advice
Parked on a retail park on August bank holiday Sunday. It was very busy no spaces and I had a disabled person with me in the car(blue badge holder) All the disabled spots where taken so I parked on the retail park (part of the shop I was using) in an area that did have a sign up saying you can't park here. I thought because it was so busy and a Sunday,it was close to the shop entrance not impeding anything or anyone and to be honest is part of the car park apart from the wall thought it would be ok. Got a ticket that says not parked correctly within the markings of bay or space. Any advice on the appeal letter please.

1. Date of contravention (definitely late bank holiday Monday?)
2. Did you get a windscreen ticket
3. Have you had a letter to keeper through post
4. Date of that letter
5. Who is Parking Company
6. Don't suppose you have wording of the notice or why it was there in that spot?
Information needed to see if they were compliant first of all. Appeal points will be supplied.0 -
A few questions
1) are you the registered keeper?
2) are you over 18?
3) what is the name of the parking company?
4) do you or your vehicle live in Scotland or NI ?

Okay so they are in the bpa aos, so the advice is to wait until the notice to keeper arrives that must be with you between days 29-56 after parking. Then you can challenge the ticket, if rejected go to popla to get this cancelled.
Be aware though there are other options to this including to pay and to ignore, the first we don't advise as it helps fund this scam, though it ends it now, and if that is your inclination then pay it before it goes up.
The other advice is to ignore the whole thing unless a letter before claim or small claim arrives, that has its own risks as the parking company has up to 6 years to make a claim. Though to date this company hasn't made any claims, they have been sued at least once though.

First of all what is bpa aos stage.?
Will go down the challenge route then popla0 -
BPA = British Parking Association
AOS = Approved Operator Scheme
Challenge it just like we say on almost every thread...have you not read many yet, not being funny but reading other threads here is the best way to inform yourself!

You aren't sending a letter yet though, as you appear to have only had a windscreen ticket at the moment? We don't advise replying to those for various sound reasons.
As Stroma said, the advice is to wait until the Notice to Keeper arrives, which must be with you between days 29-56 after parking.
So you have over a month to read other threads - and the link I already gave you - and to realise that your grounds for appeal are the same as everyone else with a Blue Badge (doesn't matter about the allegation, the appeal is similar in that they can't ticket cars showing Blue badges, as per the BPA Code of Practice, and that the amount of the charge is not an estimate of any true loss suffered by the PPC nor the retailer). But save it until the first letter arrives - sometimes you never get a letter anyway, as I have found twice myself with another PPC.
Also if you followed the link I gave surely you have by now planned to assertively complain to the Store Manager, showing your blue badge, and will likely get it cancelled that way instead?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
