Hello,
I had a default issued about 6years ago when I first got into financial difficulty and ended up on a dmp. My question is, if a further default has been applied, would the company have to notify me of this?
thanks, kezz

No fresh default is allowed to be applied, but DCAs do this.
What's the default date, has it changed?:beer:0 -
ah ok, thanks. I am unsure what is on my credit file as I can't download it on noddle as it's too big apparently so would need a paper copy. Can't think why it would be so big though. As far as I am aware, the default from alliance and leicester should nearly be 'spent' by now.
Bit worried about obtaining a paper copy of credit file as someone previously said I can be traced..I've paid my debts but makes me paranoid!0 -
You should be a able to view noddle one online, no need to download.
Could alo check equifax for £2. Can be viewed online.
I would keep the proof of settled debts as not unheard of for some idiot to have sold the same debt twice.:beer:0 -
Just tried to get one through call credit and it asked me to check my details and if they are all correct I need to download a printable form and apply by post.what a joke!0

If you now live somewhere that doesn't match the address of the accounts they hold then that might be the issue.
Have you got accounts on there at your current address?:beer:0 -
I have accessed it via equifax...only one thing on there unsettled, which I know about.waste of time really, told me what I already know lol0

If it confirms tthat you don't need to be worried about something else then it's not a waste of time.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0

Sounds like its good news?
You have a specific issue you are trying to resolve? Maybe someone can help with that if so.:beer:0
