hey techie peeps,
My son (10yrs) wants to set up a web page to show off and sell his plasticine creations -im not that computer minded -can do basic stuff -can anyone suggest a good template / site for this? , how do i get him a web address (free) etc - i dont wanna use ebay due to sellers fees and he wants a kinda blog page too and ive never done anything like that before - help!! :rotfl::)

Have a look at https://www.byethost.com you can set up a free account and web page with up to 5 sub domains.
He could end up with something like https://www.plasticine-creations.byethost33.com
It doesn't exactly trip off the tongue but that's how they encourage you to pay for a better name. Once you have the site you get access to a control panel where, amongst other things, you can use their scripts to install WordPress, a popular blogging tool, onto the site. They also give you access to Site Builder along with loads of prebuilt web site templates he can they tailor to suit.
It's a bit of a faff but it's all free and should get him up and running.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0
