Oh so you have told them you were at the job two months longer?
Why did you just not say you left the job 2 months ago and took some time out ie not telling lies about when you left and missing out this job you have had for 2 months?

I would have discounted the 2 months totally and say I just left that job and took some time out to evaluate what I wanted to do etc.
