Switched from Npower

I have switched from Npower to Scottish power, as part of the process Scottish Power asked for a meter reading a couple of weeks ago which they pass on to Npower to create final bill.
I have gone on to Npower website and account is closed but £175 in credit. Today i have received an email from NPower asking for a reading, this as puzzled me as Scottish Power did this a couple of weeks ago for me apparantly, i am unsure about sending another reading as dont want to be billed twice by 2 companies?

I would reply to the email quoting the readings you gave to SP and the date of those readings. Keep a copy of the email in case there is any dispute. Explain to npower that SP said they would pass the readings over.

Send the same reading as you gave SP and give the date of the reading. If you have not got the information (bad mistake - you should keep it in your diary at least until you get the SP opening bill), ring SP and get it from them
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'
