Viewed a house today, owners said they'd only been there two years.
No sale price data at all on Zoopla etc.
Are there any reasons why a house sale price and date wouldn't show up?

Zoopla is an indirect source so may have inaccuracies- have you checked the LR itself?
There are certain sales where the LR does not make public the saleprice.

pinkteapot - if you think the sale should be shown then use our online form to report it and we can check/amend as appropriate“Official Company Representative
I am the official company representative of Land Registry. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -
Our house purchase wasn't on the land registry either. To be honest, I'm glad as it stops people snooping.
I checked with the land registry though just to make sure that all the documentation was there and that I was the registered owner.0
