Ticket while moving

Dear all,
I am hoping for some advice.
I have received a private ticket from a non BPA company (I have checked the BPA website for this) while moving into a block of flats.
I went into the flat to collect the permit and was ticketed in the 10 mins it took to find the flat, find the permit and come/go to the car.
My letter of explanation (with my name and the address into which I moved into) has been rejected.
Other info;
I was provided with a FOB for the main car park gate.
The car park does states tickets will be issued to cars without a permit and enforcement is 24/7.
What do you all think? can I defend in court if need be?
Best wishes and thanks for any advice

Did they give you a POPLA code? Appeal through them. You'll win at some point...it's common sense.ParkingQuery wrote: »Dear all,

Oh Gawd...you actually wrote to a non-AOS member? You gave them your name and address...the name and address that they could NOT have got from the DVLA!Think about it...you would have heard NOTHING more... :eek:Which PPC? If it's not an AOS member then there is no appeal, no POPLA, and would have been NO LETTERS at all. But you've given them your address now!!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Worried about OP's actions but more worried about Happy MJ's reply.
Did you miss the bit about a non-BPA PPC? Hopefully just an oversight.0 -

Good evening Planet Earth.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
