insurance for leaner driver ?

Hi i insured my daughter with Collingswood,while she was learning to drive.Her dad sat with her while she was on a provisional licence.You could do it for a month or multiple months.When she passed she was no longer insured with Collingswood,and had to find other insurance and the time she was insured as a provisional driver did not count towards her NCB.

Watch the price different it maybe HUGE... Cheap as a learer but maybe over £2000 when they pass.

yeah, did a quote, same car, same details which included me as named driver, only difference was having a provisional licence then a full with less then 1 month and it came with admerial as cheapest on both £421 whilst on provisional licence then £664 on full, and thats fully comp so not too bad.

thanks for all the info guy's, managed to get sorted today on a multi car policy as my car was due for renewal in a week and half.
