Best way to send off a snooker cue (half length)

I am selling a pair of snooker cues, which join in the middle.
What postal / courier service would folk here recommend please,
I'll probably be able to get a old cardboard tube (from the local carpet shop) so I'll stick the cues and case inside this.
Length will be about 650mm,
Diameter of tube 120mm
Weight 2.4 kg
thanks

My Hermes would deliver this in 3-5 days, fully tracked for £5.40. You can either have a courier collect it from you or just drop it off at one of their parcel shops. They are normally in local corner shops. I send a lot of stuff this way and never had a problem. It'll be cheaper than Royal Mail and will be tracked so there is no problems.0

Buy a piece of plastic drainage pipe,,the sort of diameter you would use for a sink drain.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

I've used MyHermes a few times recently, but vaguely remember 'in the past' RM let tubular items go at a cheaper rate than their normal rate. I'll stick with MyH then.

I think if its in a tube it can still go as a small parcel. However if it is over 2kg then My Hermes is cheaper0
