Satmap Active 10 - help needed

Hi,
we have the Satmap Active 10 and OH been trying to use it for geocaching.
When you put the co-ordinates in (as directed in the instructions) it doesn't come up with the correct location. We've done the decimal conversion 'thing', again as instructed, but still failed. It has been updated recently by Satmap so has the most up to date software - and is supposed to be one of the best devices for geocaching (it should be for the price!

Could someone please explain simply how to set the coordinates on this device please?
