                    Hi All,
Feeling very overwhelmed at the moment, just about nearing getting a date for completion on our first home and starting to worry about all the things I need to get set up.
Currently renting and had a few problems last year sorting gas and electricity (kept Southern Electric and went on a 2 year capped price plan, spent an average of £50 a month for both this year), broadband and phone (TalkTalk at £3.25 a month and £114 line rental) and water (£265 for the year not sure whether a meter would be cheaper).
Now I just seem to be a bit frozen about doing it all again. The new property has pre-payment meters which I think I would like to have taken out. Southern Electric have quoted £52 per meter to remove them and set up a new supply with no ERC as moving house but can't take our 2 yr deal with us.
Also just to add to the stress my 24 month T-mobile contract runs out this month and I need to sort an upgrade/switch (300 mins, 300 text, free internet and unlimited T-mobile calls for £16.50 p/m). Need a new handset as current screen is smashed.
Have had a look at all the comparison sites (billmonitor, energyhelpline etc) but I think as the deals I have right now are quite good I'm just scared about early cancellation charges etc.
If anyone could offer any help or advice I would be very grateful.
