X-O and Barclays right issue

hi

i currently hold barclays shares with X-O and have heard nothing from them about the RI which i am not happy about!! How can i buy these shares iv just read we only have until the 13th?

According to Reuters, you need to be on Barclays share register by 13th September in order to qualify for the rights issue. As an existing share holder, you will already be on the share register, so you qualify for the rights issue.

Barclays will be publishing a prospectus for the rights issue after 13th September. The new shares are expected to start trading on 3rd October.

With that in mind, I would expect X-O to contact you after 13th September. If you want to double check then you could just email X-O. From experience, they tend to respond within a couple of hours.
