Contractual Parking Charge -St.Helens DW Sports Car Park

Hi All,
I received a Contractual parking charge after parking in St.Helens DW sports car park. From what i have read on other forums ,its not an official parking fine.I took it to St.Helens police who told me to take it to the council.
The fine was for £100 and the company is called G24 LTD.They have now passed it to a team of debit collectors according to Protection of Freedom acts 2012.
The Debt collection company has now issued a letter ,they are called Ccscollect.
From what the police told me ,anyone can hire the car park, put cameras up and then charge for using their car park.
Anyone got experience with this matter or similar. It was also featured on the local radio station but the magic eye company.
I have not replied to any company in any shape or form.
Thanks

More details please, especially dates and what you have received in terms of tickets, letters, and any correspondence you have engaged in with G24.
Dates are very important, so do make sure you hold on to any correspondence between you and G24.
Time to push the zzzzs, so ..... until tomorrowPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

You took a G24 fake PCN piece of rubbish to the Police and the Council?! Everyone gets those letters; I have similar ones myself from 3 fake (= any private) PCNs that I have laughed at in recent years.
But we would have told you how to appeal and win this if you had asked in time. Never mind, as you have got the usual drivel from CCS Collect, you have probably missed the 28 day deadline? If so, you can't appeal to G24 and beat them at POPLA this time (do that next time with your next fake PCN and no need to scuttle to the Police!). Read up on appeals and POPLA now you are here on this forum; then you will know next time.
What you should do is COMPLAIN to the Management Team which runs the Retail Park and the Store Manger if you were a customer that day. Just complain very assertively, as all these people have done:

Get the Store Manager or overall Retail Park Manager (if a multi-store car park) to get this harassment cancelled. Say assertively that, to be frank, you've reached the end of your tether with this and it beggars belief that a customer car park should let these sharks in to prey on paying customers like a protection racket on site.
HTH, tell us when the organ grinder calls off this monkey!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
