Credit Card Company stopped me using card - can they still increase interest rate?

I have been stopped from using a few credit cards for a number of years - can they continue increasing the interest rates I have to pay?

    You can opt out of any increases to the interest rate (within 60days of notification of the hike). Once you have opted out of an increase on a particular card they shouldn't try increasing it again.
