    They will get SSP, which the OP is currently receiving.

    Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked

    I'm flattered that you thought I would, but I don't know the answer. It is often the case that an employee cannot give up rights even by consent, but I'm not sure if that applies here.

  • I had two days of annual leave which were also covered by a fit note unable for me to work. My employers payroll system put those days back into the kitty for me to book before the annual leave year ends in March.

    I will ask when I can book them off as if I had give my boss a list if dates I want to book off, they will be full
  • I believe the situation is that you can't be on both at the same time. So, if you come off sick and then go back on sick after your holiday, then it will count as two sickness periods. And as you didn't go on holiday then make sure they cancel your annual leave as you should get it back.
