Keep gas wall heaters or install central heating?

Hi
We are about to move house at the start of next month. It is a 3 bed terraced. It has a gas fire in the living room at the chimney breast, it has a gas heater on the wall in the hall at the front door and a gas heater on the wall in one of the bedrooms upstairs.
Having never used these i really don't know how much heat these gas wall heaters give off and how expensive they are to run.
Would it be better to install central heating at a cost of £3-4k? I'm trying to balance comfort and cost and I'm not sure how comfortable I'm going to be this winter!
Water will be heated by immersion heater.
