pension credit

This is a question for a friend of mine, his mum has recenly moved in with him and his family (she divorced), will live there rent-free. Does she qualify for pension credit if her weekly income is about £60? Do they take into consideration his son's income? (he supports his family wife kids etc). Thanks.

Son's income will not be taken into account - if £60 is literally her only income and she has no savings / capital / other property over the value of £10k - and she meets the age criteria - then yes she will qualify.
