Where can I upload video files so that friends/family can download in correct format

I have made videos from a show and the show members plus fiends want to download the video files. At the moment I send a memory stick to them. Is there a free way to upload large video files so that they can download the files?
Any web links and suggestions most welcome.
Thanks :rotfl:

Try Dropbox, you get free storage and can share links to whomever you want without allowing access to the public.0

Dropbox, Sugarsync, Google Drive, amongst others.0

Was that intentional?

I am going for drop box as I can easily use it on my Ipad. It's 4 England family, friends etc“…the ‘insatiability doctrine – we spend money we don’t have, on things we don’t need, to make impressions that don’t last, on people we don’t care about.” Professor Tim Jackson

Tresorit could work too. It offers a much higher level of security over Dropbox and a greater starting amount of storage space. They don't however have an Android or iOS app, yet!0

If you have a web server (or a PC that will be on when your friends want to download the files from you), you could just make them available via FTP.
Dropbox is probably easier, but quite slow and you're limited to a certain amount of space. FTP will be faster and without inherent limits.

Its a good idea, but the fact the OP has to ask this question suggests that setting up their own FTP will be out of their comfort zone.0
