hi just posting for my mom, she had morgage witn her late hubby untill 2000 think it was with abby I have seen letters and printed them etc but were do I send them to [reguding abby building society] please.
she dose not have account details either which makes things harder any help would be great

did she pay PPI? (it may have been life assurance, critical illlness cover or income protection. Or it may have been MPPI - however only the latter is PPI)
what wrong doing is she saying occurred?
what evidence exists to support her complaint?
how did she buy it? (lender, broker etc)?
Questions as as most mortgage advisers/brokers did not become regulated for insurance until January 2005 and mortgages in October 2004. So, 2000 is pre-regulation. It Abbey sold it then you send it to Santander. If a broker/adviser sold it then you give up.
Reason is important as most mortgage insurance complaints are rejected (including by the FOS).
