in Credit cards
I am currently abroad and would like to rent a car. I don't like really using credit cards but the company would like to take it to hold a certain amount. I can pay for the rental of car by cash but they still want to block an amount in case of fines etc.
I have a UK cc and would like to know if they do not take the money out of the card and the amount is released would the credit card charge me anything?
Thanks

If no money is actually charged (I.e. you pay cash when you return) then you won't be charged anything by the credit card company or the rental agency (Unless you damaged the car or flashed up a speed camera etc.).0
