Backdating - Help please?

Morning all.

Today, after months of panic and stress I finally received my DLA award letter to say that they are reinstating me on the award I was originally on prior to being temporarily put on lower rates when reapplying/appealing after my original DLA award ended.

During the time my DLA was lowered, my ESA disability premium was understandably stopped. Now my DLA award has been reinstated do I need to contact the DWP to fill in a ESA disability premium form again? ...or will this be done automatically?

Also, does anyone know if they will backdate the ESA disability premium to the date from when my original DLA award ended?

I hope I make sense! Thank you so much for any advice you have - I am always grateful.
