volvo s40 clutch master slave cylinder

had master clutch cylinder replace may2012 by volvo main dealer on a recall now after about 10,000 miles clutch as gone been replaced by breakdown garage without my say so but should it have needed replacing so soon on a volvo s40 58 plate thanks for any help sean

    Depends how you use the clutch and the mileage and journey types.

    What actually went on the clutch? Plate worn or slave or other?
