Invitation to office interview

I recently posted this a few days ago, but can't find it now, anyway I rang the Jobcenterplus to see if they would inform me on why I am being called in. The lady I have an appointment with told me what the allegations were ( all lies ) Just wondered now do they usually tell you everything over the phone ? Glad she did as I know what has been sent to them is total fiction !

If you have been invited to a compliance visit they are normally quite forthcoming in explaining why they have asked you in. If it is an interview under caution then it is unusual for them to explain anything until you get their.

The former is used when they want to check facts, the latter is used when they believe they have sufficient evidence of fraud... I am guessing yours is a compliance interview?!

Yes it is compliance, I was just surprised that she told me the reasons for the interview, I honestly thought it would be revealed at the appointment. Do they do the checks before you go? As am sure she said that the report had gone in a year ago? If they looked up the allegations, which they would be able to do due to it being something anyone could, is this meeting something that has to happen for me to say that they are true/false ?
