Best account like Barclays Direct (formerly ING)??

I have an ING account but the interest is pitiful, 0.5%. Does anyone know if there is a similar type of account out there but with better interest? I really like the 'instant' access via the internet and the fact I can have numerous sub-accounts within it. Sorry if this has already been asked already, but I'm new to this and tried in vain to search for an answer. Thanks.

All the decent instant access savings accounts are paying very low interest. A lot of us on here have opened as many accounts as we can with Lloyds TSB/Bank of Scotland Vantage, Nationwide Flexdirect accounts and regular savings accounts (some of which we would never have bothered with when interest rates were higher on instant access and fixed bond accounts). Search on this forum for more information on how to get the best from these accounts"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0
