Yahoo - Spigot removal help.

I have suddenly become the owner of a new search engine on Chrome. Each time I open up chrome another page opened with Yahoo search.

Ive done a malware scan but comes up with nothing, and used ccleaner to remove rubbish and checked my registry but is still here with me.

Can anyone help me get rid of this Yahoo crap please.

go into chrome's settings, remove any search providers you don't want, and reset the homepage to just what you want it to be, not a group of pages. exit chrome then open it again - what happens?

sounds like you haven't changed the "open a group of pages" or however it's worded to be a single page as a homepage.... you have to click the link that's in the settings section for homepages to get in to do this..
