Short and medium term savings accounts

Hi all,
Looking for a wee bit of a heads up if you don't mind, currently I have a few savings accounts attached to my current account which I transfer any visa spendings into so that I can pay it off every month and where I put my Tilly tidies into ... I let them mount up to £50 a time then transfer them over to either my cash isa or my s&s Isa or my mortgage ... These account have abysmal interest rates attached to them but its ok as I don't have money sitting in them for long ( they are more a kindve transient account if that makes any sense ?)
I have a s&s isa which I am using to retire early and I have a small cash Isa which I use as an emergency type fund ... I also have my £2.5k in the nationwide as an emergency fund ( I have not yet managed to get a full three months emergency money ... But I am slowly getting there )
However I will need to buy a new car at some point ad we also need to start thinking about house repairs ... With this in mind I am looking for a couple of savings accounts ( so that I can keep the pots separate) where I can add money to as and when I have it ... I don't have the capacity at this stage to commit to any specific monthly payment as a lot of what I currently save is due to working overtime and not my basic ...
Basically I am looking for a medium term savings account where I can save for a new car or maybe a fitted kitchen etc but I'm looking to add to it as and when I can but would like a better rate of interest ( sadly I imagine an inflation beating one is too much to ask for at this time) ... I'm looking for relatively easy access but not too easy ... Maybe 30/60 day notice ?
Can anyone help ?
Sorry that should've Said short an medium term savings accounts not funds ... Must be the sun affecting my brain

Have moved this to the budgeting and bank accounts board as it may be more suitable for there

How much are we talking about? Best solution is one of the high rate current accounts:
Nationwide
Santander
Lloyds0
