cheap long term car lease (NHS discount???)
im looking for a lease car, only small to get my DIL to work each day. Rather than pay for a second hand car I am looking to go down the lease route so no extra costs, breakdown, MOT insurance etc.
The car could be leased for around 1 year not sure on the time scale.
A quick look on the net and can see small cars for around £99 per month.
I was hoping for suggestions for a female driver who is a nurse to get to work and back home upto maybe 12 miles per day and possibly the odd shop run and day out maybe.

All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

My partner works for the NHS and they run a salary sacrifice scheme at her trust. We haven't got a car on it, but some of her colleagues have.
Might be worth looking into. Also check out the NHS discount website, they sometimes have car deals on.

Link doesn't work, so do a search on Google for 'nhs discount'0 -

Yes our trust does also but the cars are over £150 per month and have a 3 year contract.
Im not sure if the Pilgrim in Boston has this scheme however but not wanting one for 3 years.
Im looking at the 99 mark and cheaper hopefully. All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -
Sorry, I skipped past the 1 year lease bit, your title threw me, long term generally is 2-3 years.
Don't think I've seen any one year lease deals for £99 a month, the first year is the biggest depreciation hit so if you can get one for £1200 a year they may be making a loss.
I've seen the Up! for around £120 on Ling Cars.0 -

Rather than a 'contract' isnt it possible to lease a car on a 1 month payment term then get another month etc?All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.0 -
That sounds more like renting, which is going to cost considerably more a month.0
