  • Iain Duncan Smith, has failed in every job and career he's done. He would be unemployable if he hadn't married into money.

A £425million IT system is still not working properly and £34million of equipment has already been written off.

    WTH????

Thought almost exactly the same thing when I read it.
Civil Servants pishingg money down the drain in IT
    Whats new there ?
Sooner there are mass redundancies in that part of the public sector jobs for life the better.

Civil service and public sector IT procurement seems to be a bullsh1**ers charter. Soooo much money and so many failures would be better to bring back chalk and slate and abacusses.

And so what if IDS resigns or gets sacked. There'll just be a be another shovel piling on the ordure.

The benefit system absolutely needs reform - but God forbid someone does it properly!

    Well it had to happen.

The clueless I D S is now blaming the failure of his not so great universal credit on his civil servants.

After wasting millions of tax payers money should he now be sacked.

It seems everything he does is a failure.

Incompetent, insolent, ill informed, self entitled, bullying little tyrant. George Smith is a wretched turd of a man who should never ever have been allowed near high office. He doesn't know what he is doing. He and his cabal of unelected undemocratic liars and privateers are destroying people's lives. Enough is enough.

It's not just his department, is it? The Civil Service has been like that for years. Wasn't there some huge waste of money with a NHS system a while ago?

This isn't about the civil service, it's about George Smith and his personal crsuade, driven by his resentment at failing as party leader. He has a huge chip on his shoulder and no skill.

Cheap shots at the civil service are just poor excuses for a man who should be drummed out of public office at the earliest opportunity.

Don't worry, he wont' suffer: he has a £1.5mn land subsidy for the home he lives in. That s multi million pound mansioon owned by his father in law, an earl.

Not if his wife sees sense and gives him the boot.

It hasn't failed. It's just not gone out on time.
