Well it had to happen.

The clueless I D S is now blaming the failure of his not so great universal credit on his civil servants.

After wasting millions of tax payers money should he now be sacked.

It seems everything he does is a failure.

He seemed a bit lost in an interview on BBC this morning.

    Yes, resign.

    Short answer:

    YES!

    Longer answer:

Smith is a failure. He was a failure as Tory party leader. To quote Gareth Southgate who cited Duncan Smith when he remarked after England's 2002 World Cup quarter-final defeat against Brazil:

"We were expecting Winston Churchill and instead we got Iain Duncan Smith." Nuff said!!!

More telling and importantly are the mans more recent and total failures. Universal Credit is over budget and behind schedule.

Universal Jobmatch is beset by poor IT and mismanagement that allows all manner of dodgy vacancies to be posted.

And his 'brain'child, the Work Program is an utter failure, achieving a 3.5% target of getting people into work for 6 months or more in its first year and doing little better in now its second year.

All Smith can do is get angry, jab his finger and blame others. He also has little credibility when he is taken to task over issues such as Universal Creidit as he was this morning. What is telling is that every question asked was answered with "I believe", "He believes" "We believe" ! No hard facts coming from his lips at all.

Smith is probably the worst minister in this government right now. He is both a rabid ideologue and a sociopath. A toxic combo. Apparently, Cameron agrees and thus wanted to sack Smith or at least move him sideways in a previous cabinet re-shuffle. Smith refused. So Smith's failures are every bit as much Cameron's too.

It is high time Smith did three things.

    1) Acknowledge his mistakes

    2) Publically apologise

    3) RESIGN!

In reality, I think we have more chance of seeing Big Foot and his Himalayan cousin the Yeti dancing the Tango together!

A £425million IT system is still not working properly and £34million of equipment has already been written off.

The main problem is that, he and other political figures haven't lived in the real world since leaving college/university. If they were in control of a real business then, they would go bust very quickly.

Resign? He should have been given the job in the first place.

It's not just his department, is it? The Civil Service has been like that for years. Wasn't there some huge waste of money with a NHS system a while ago?
