Credit cards, who owns what?

This is my first post in this part of the forum, so first off a big hello to everyone here.

At present I am trying to transfer as much of my debt as i possibly can onto 0%, so far I have managed to get accepted for Virgins 0% for 26 months CC, for which I used to do a SBT to my bank account to enable me to put it towards our car loan, as this has the greatest interest rate.

I am now looking to get another 0% SBT CC to do the same again, so yesterday I applied for Fluids 0% for 22 months but on applying I was told that I had a stronger chance of being accepted for their 14 months 0% card, so I gave this a go only to be turned down, which I assume is because I've not long had my Virgin card, and also because they are both owned by MBNA.

So I was wondering which cards are owned by which banks, in the hope that I will have a better chance of being accepted if the banks that own the cards are not linked in anyway shape or form.

Thank you in advance.
Chris.
