Regardless you can only eat so much before your burst, as for breakfast i am happy with a bowl of cereal and a cup of tea. I wont eat more just because i can if i want.I agree. I think this is more down to the OP's interpretation rather than there being an actual issue.
The specification is 'all you can eat'. It's not 'all you can eat buffet'.0 -

Indeed. We use them for business. I still refuse to pay £8+ for indelible veggie sausages, mushrooms and scrambled eggs from a carton, or a cheese omelette. Even DD turns her nose up at the (cheap) meat sausages and bacon and she wolfs (decent) ones down here.
The one we stay at most regularly has a brewers fayre attached, but does the cooked to order breakfast.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
Thanks guys, I just think that the element of choice is removed when you can't see the food you want order first.
Really? how many restaurants have you been to where you could see what you are ordering before you actually did so?
What a novel idea!Thinking critically since 1996....0 -

Perhaps the OP eats at McD's a lot, where of course the food that is delivered to you looks exactly like it does on the pictures :rotfl:.0 -
I visited a PI on a regular basis last year and then had a cold buffet breakfast layout, but not many of their guests were using it. when i visited the same PI the following month they did not have the cold buffet, when i asked about this i was told they decided to stop it as they wasted more food as it mainly left by guests as most preferred the hot cooked breakfast.0

Was in one a couple of weeks ago and it was explained they only put the buffet out when it was busy (which it wasn't), but we could order anything we liked.
One lot of 'two of everything' was plenty though, especially after the 'heap of granola with forest fruits on' and 'croissants and toast with every-type-of-jam' on.
Was tempted by the 'heap of hash brows with runny egg on' as illustrated on the front of the menu but they were a bit on the greasy side though I thought better of it.
Nice stay, well worth the money.Out on blue six..

I never order breakfast when I stay at Premier Inn because I just can't justify spending £9 or whatever it is per person for a simple fry-up. My suggestion: find a mcdonalds for breakfast.0

To be fair, that's not the case though.
It's not a simple fry up.
You can have (for example......as many bowls of bran flakes as you want, several glasses of fresh orange juice, fry up with toast, big bowl of fresh fruit, muffins & croissants.
So much more than a 'simple' fry up for £9 and better choices (imo) than those offered at Maccy D'sHerman - MP for all!

Unless you're a carb-avoiding veggie with tastebuds.

I too detest those impossible to remove veggie sausages.0
