:rotfl: :rotfl: Glad it brought a smile to your face - a sense of humour is so important when you are unwell I find.
I haven't got a carer although I was offered one a while ago and when it was suggested I was horrified  to think I needed one, in my mind I thought I was too young to be in need of one and just wanted to battle on! I have just recently been awarded a higher care rate as a result of re-applying for DLA (I was on the low care rate before) and has meant that I have now also been given 'severe disability premium' (I know it sounds scary as I did not want to think of myself with a severe disability) which was a bit of a surprise, but it has made a big difference. I wasn't seen at all but they did get a report from my GP who I see on a regular basis, and I do believe that the higher care rate was awarded on that basis. Hey, don't be proud just apply for what you are entitled.;) 0 -

If they don't do DWP appeals, they will refer you to a welfare rights worker, who will help you.
It's better to do this - you have a much greater chance of success.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.
