Ripped off by Arnova/HMV advice needed!

I bought an Andriod tablet from HMV on 11th January 2013. After a couple of days we had to return the tablet as it wouldnt charge. HMV happily changed it for a new one.
A few weeks later the battery went once again. I had to track down a store with the same one in stock to return it once again.
This one lasted until May.
All of a sudden the tablet froze. I contacted HMV but they refused an exchange or refund due to being in administration. They advised me to contact Arnova direct. Arnova agreed to exchange the tablet. I posted it at my cost and recieved another within 2 weeks.
The new one lasted just a week. Arnova agreed to exchange it once again but this time I had to send it to France. I sent it recorded delivery on 4th July, They recieved it on the 9th July.
I contacted them many times but they insisted they hadnt recieved it.
After continulously phoning them they have finally said that they cant send me another one as they dont have any. They have refused to refund me or even send me an alternative! They have said I just have to wait. I have been waiting for nearly 2 months and dont believe they will ever send me one!
can anyone help?

Yes i do, i dont have the original reciept but i have recieved the tracking number from my local post office!0

Yes, they recieved it in france on 9th July0
