Deposit to DFS

Ordered a new sofa for dfs .applied for credit been refused . Have phoned them to try to get £100 deposit back . They have said no and we can have a credit note. Do we have to accept credit note or can we get the money back .thanks for any help :A

    Search the forum and you will see other examples of the same
  • No, the sale was subject to finance, which was not accepted. They won't have any loss as they don't place an order until finance is complete.

    So ask them again, if no joy, I'd send a LBA.
