House plant pots

I was looking at the Kew range of pots today (again) as I waiting in 'queue' (snigger) at the garden centre and I really do think they are lovely looking

But they are really, really expensive. I'm not buying them, even though a collection of assorted colours would look beautiful on the window over my sink, and on the bedroom window sil.

I'm thinking about pulling in my pelargoniums and potting up bulbs for Christmas and not liking most of the pots I have and feeling a bit sad about that. Of course I'll make do, but it would be nice to like my planters more without selling an organ to buy them. I have trouble finding pots I like and end up with assorted pots. Of all the pots in my hose I only have three I actually like.

What about othercgreenfingered people? Perhaps your house plants are all so much more radiant that you never ever notice the pots?

Yes, they are indeed very nice. But I wouldn't buy one. We are far too clumsy :D

I do have a few pots but they are more likely from Wilkinsons or charity shops.

Our local tip sometimes has old plant pots for pennies.

I am not keen on most pots, but I have some large ones for strawberries, about £24 each so not financially viable, but nice. And I have some like the Kew pots but much cheaper from a local Hillier garden centre. Generally I think small pots look silly outdoors, but big ones are fine.
