Any Wooleich customers having debit card problems?

My dad has been having issues with his debit card recently. I'm getting the feeling that the Woolwich to Barclays changeover isn't going smoothly. He's a creature of habit and doesn't do anything apart from minor shopping and petrol and yet his card is being declined left right and centre despite having over £5k in his account. He's been to Woolwich - they've said no problems. He's called up Woolwich who also agree that there's no stop or anything untoward.

Anyone else in a similar boat?

we had the same problem, sooo embarrassing when ur card is declined, it took numerous phone calls to Barclays and woolwich before the problem was rectified...sorry no easy answer here.... we have now received our barclay cards in replacement to the woolwich cards, things ok....but cannot say the same for the direct debit change overs:(
