Has anyone lost their card before and if so, how long did it take for the new one to arrive? They've told me anything up to ten days but I think this is way too long!
Thanks in advance

If you were told the card would take 5 days and it took 7 you would think they were rubbish.
If you were told it might take 10 but it arrives after 7 you might think they were prettty good!0 -

If you think it's too long then perhaps you could start up a business offering card issuers the opportunity to create and deliver cards in a shorter time, could be a huge money spinner for you, assuming you can work out how to actually guarantee that shorter time.

Mine came really quickly - 2 or 3 days. Only snag is that they remove the old account from the online system so you can no longer access your PDF statements. There is no need for them to do this - it's the card that's lost, not the online system that's been compromised. When I lost my wallet recently I could still access all my other accounts online (including my Nationwide current account despite losing my NW debit card) , only had this problem with Nationwide CC.
I suggest with Nationwide you save out your PDFs as you go along (good idea anyway). OR if you lose your card consider logging in to grab the PDFs before you report it lost/stolen. (Some risk there.)0 -

I had the same problem with a Halifax Clarity card that had to be replaced due to being compromised. The account details were removed from the on line banking account. A few days later, when a new card had been issued the info appeared on line with the previous transactions copied to the new account.0
