Hello All,
l've just received a letter from barclaycard informing me that my card protection policy will automatically renew on 28/10/2013 unless l cancel before then. Is there anyone at Barclays aware of what's going on at the moment, is this protection still in place, and are they still able to offer this?
Just an add on, my son lost his wallet last year, and phoned the protection people as soon as he realised, to cancel his cards. His building society card was cancelled ok, but it was only after waiting a long time for a new bank card to be sent, that he phoned only to find a new one hadn't been issued as the old one hadn't been cancelled. Luckily, my sons' wallet was handed in complete, but so much for 'protection'!!
