I've got several MP3 audio tracks that I want to play using Windows Media Player, some will play but not others. They will all play in Nero Showtime but I would prefer WMP.
Advice would be appreciated.

Are they all definitely MP3 format? Where did they come from (eg download, ripped, recorded)?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

They are all MP3's. I've downloaded some of them but some are from audio CD's.0

What program did you use to rip from cd?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Windows media player is complete pap - try using any of VLC or media player classic for video (can do audio as well) and winamp for audio (can do video as well).0

I've always used media player. I like the way you can do playlists & see all your music & video's on one screen.

It's strange they will play in one player but not another. At least with them all being downloaded we're finding something in common. Where did you download them from, was it a legitimate source?"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I downloaded them from LimeWire0

Well not allowed to discuss that site on here. But what I will say is that you can get quite dodgy files on there and they may not be in true mp3 format, they may only have mp3 extension."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

and you can do that with winamp and media player classic and vlc...
Winamp is excellent and will provide everything wmp does and more. Yes maybe you'll have to spend 5 mins getting used to something a little different but it is far far better.0
