Another tip is to pick up a free paper on your first day of arrival. The Metro isavailable at Tube stations in the mornings, while the Londonpaper and LondonLite available in the early evenings. Then havea read through to see what is free or look out for cheap events are happening during the times of your stay?

The London Paper and London Lite haven't been published since about 2009! The Evening Standard is now free though.
