Advice on where to go in November?

Me and my partner are looking to go somewhere end of November for a week, possibly one of the canary islands.
Does anyone have any recommendations? hotels? areas?
We want somewhere that isn't too remote, ie. near local villages, harbor etc. (but nothing too touristy if that makes sense)
Thanks

Search online for deals, then look up the specific hotels on tripadvisor.co.uk (give more weight to reviews from members with a number of posts not just a single one).0

have been to gran canaria a few times usually stay in lively areas, have never been yet but puerto mogan often gets mentioned.
just got back from lanzarote visited http://www.lanzaroteinformation.com/content/puerto-calero, i would describe it as slightly more upmarket than PDC. water taxi available to PDC0 -
Puerto de Mogan would fit the bill. It's about the most picturesque place I've seen in the Canaries, and is a small place with plenty of transport options to see further afield. We have stayed twice at the Cordial Playa Mogan hotel which is fantastic, but there are apartment options if that is what you prefer.0

As others have said Puerto Mogan in Gran Canaria is really nice, quite upmarket and sometimes nicknamed the 'Venice of the Canary Islands'. Being more upmarket it can be more expensive so I suppose it would depend on budget.
Other good choices would be Playa Blanca in Lanzarote, Los Gigantes, Puerto Santiago or Playa Paraiso in Tenerife or Jandia in Fuerteventura.
Specific hotels again would depend on budget and what you want / or like from a hotel.I am a Travel Agent

A few places tend to have a cut off point in October/November where a number of the bars and restaurants will close, certainly in tourist resorts. There are still places open but maybe not the choice you get more in season.
It is a gamble with the weather at that time of the year and the nights will be colder once the sun is down but we've had some very enjoyable, warm holidays in both Spain and on the Canaries in the Autumn.0 -

we usually go in winter0 -
We went to Corralejo in Fuerteventura last November, stayed in apartments beside the ferry terminal, had a lovely week and would definitely go back to the island, I have a friend who goes to Fuerteventura every winter!RIP Iain

How much do you want to spend?
Thomson are doing for just under £500 a week to Turkey in the new Sensatori resort in Side.
Temps in November range from around 19 - 25 degrees. It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice0 -
Thanks for the suggestions!
We went to sensatori Mexico last year and that was a great holiday. I looked at the sensatori in Turkey but its unavailable for the dates we wanted to go.
We probably want to spend around £500-£600 each.0
