    which loans direct? what website?

You will find somewhere on the website in the T&Cs it will tell you where to write to to request a refund (which is usually all but £5 of the broker fee you have been charged).

edit if its this site http://www.loans-directuk.net/termsandconditions
then this is the relevant section

Maybe they couldn't understand the email.

Get someone to help compose the letter if you must but get a letter sent in the post requesting your refund.

Oh if only people read terms and conditions BEFORE inputting their card details and personal information into a website.

Or even the text on the front page should give you some idea:
    About Us

Loans Direct is an online community and membership programme offering members access to exclusive loans, credit cards and other financial products. We provide tools to match members with the best products available for their own unique financial position in easiest way possible. If you're looking to consolidate your debts, borrow some money for a holiday or simply save money with great deals then join today and find the solution that is right for you.

    Membership

We charge a simple and transparent one off fee of £69.75 for new members. This fee means that we can be completely independent and recommend products based on what’s best for you and not on who will pay us the most commission.

Let alone the section in the T&C's saying:
The Fee charged for Membership Services

We provide a variety of services by phone, internet, mail and other means through a 30 day membership programme (see 'The Benefits of Membership'). In return for these services, You agree to pay a one-off charge of not more than £69.75. On submission of your Membership application you will be automatically charged by a direct charge to the debit/credit card you provided and authorised on application.
If your Membership charge of not more than £69.75 is declined we will immediately take £1.95 in order to validate your card details and cover the cost of search and administration. Should both of these attempts fail we will continue to attempt to collect the one off Membership charge of up to £69.75 at regular intervals until successful. Should the £1.95 validation payment be successful we will continue to attempt to collect the remainder of the one off membership charge of not more than £69.75 at regular intervals until achieved.

Forget emails, you need to write a letter.

Was it over the phone ? You must have been told what the money was for.

Stop looking for loans and cut your spending. Go over to the dfw board and post an soa if you need help.

If you emailed them in the same sort of text speak you have used above, I'm not surprised they haven't answered you. I wouldn't answer such an email either.

I don't mean to be rude but from your posts I can't help picturing a sort of Victor Meldrew kind of character...
