Thank you but I do not have a recovery disc.
Can I create one from my laptop.

    Thanks again

It's in your private message inbox. Has been there for some time.

Worse case scenario, you can use your Windows XP Home with SP3 recovery disc for DELL.

You'll need to install from boot in order to delete/format the main partition so as overwrite the old install.
No need for a key as it's made for DELL.

    Thank you

I just noticed that you had written the message before I had corrected the service tag information. As I had earlier written the wrong service tag as U7670 but corrected later to 668L52J which is correct one.

    Would it make any difference?
Or would I need an activation code>

    Thanks
I wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T

No, it won't make any difference. DELL recovery disc will activate automatically with your machine. No need to enter a Product key. The Service Tag is only for you to retrieve any missing Drivers after installation. I just wanted to check as to whether the licence was for Professional or Home.

I guessed Home. Hope I was right.
