Hi
my printer doesn't print anymore.
it prints blank pages.
when you print test pages it prints colours to show ink is present.
in printer preferences (under advance) I can select black ink only, which prints blank, I can choose grey scale, it will then print random lines in grey, or I can select colour, and it prints nothing.
ive tried all the diagnostics like align paper, cartridges, clear smearheads et etc but it will not print. ive reset the printer to its default settings also but no joy.
the cartridges currently installed were bought from WHS as buy one get one half price (HP 364 originals)..the first set was fine, the 2nd set is where the issues occurred (used after 6 months once the first set had ran out)...
currently its showing ink levels as low (even though there hardly used as the printer hasn't printed) but it will show colours in the printing of the test page but not when I print an actual document.
What else can i check? the printer is just over a year old and hardly used and in perfect condition. don't want to waste money on buying more cartridges just to find out it still doesn't work.
