Underfloor heating with engineered wooden flooring

We have built our extension and just had a site survey for our bifolding doors. They say they need to know the height of the floor after fitting the engineered wooden flooring. unfortunately we have not got round to choosing the flooring so would like some help on what the build up would be. Would we be fixing the flooring direct to the screed or is an underlay/membrane required over the screed before the flooring is laid?
Any advice would be appreciated as we have to provide the measurements urgently as there is a long lead time for the production of the doors and they cannot commence the order until they know the built up height of the flooring.

You can't do anything until you have actually chosen the eng flooring.
It varies in thickness a whole lot, so does the bedding query.

You can't put the chicken before the egg before the chicken etc.

    Decide then tell them.;);)

What I am actually saying is that you are jumping the gun, or maybe allowing the door suppliers to "jump" you.

You need to tell them to measure for themselves, for obvious reasons,
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed
