Balance Tranfers while redundant

in Credit cards
I was made redundant last week after company went into administration, i'm looking for work but not found one yet. However, the Halifax credit card I have had for last year is due to start gaining interest next month (it was on 0% for 13 months) so want to transfer the balance over to another card so it stays 0% at least for a few months, but since I'm unemployed will it be possible to transfer it? I know some ask for the annual income to be over 5k, but as of last week i'm not making that amount.

No, not without an income.0

You could do it if you already have another credit card with sufficient limit offering a promo 0% rate on balance transfers.
But if you don't then you don't stand much chance of being accepted for a new one whilst unemployed.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
